Michael Hayes was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota and traveled to many corners of the USA before landing in Boston, where he lived nearly two decades and played in several bands including the Vinyl Skyway. He now resides with his partner and their five children just outside Chicago, IL. Hayes is a singer-songwriter, at work on new material for his next album with the Vinyl Skyway in 2022.
